Bio:
Welcome to Analogapalooza!
Macjams First Annual Vintage Music Festival.
Post and listen to music of the 20th Century created without the use of computers - recorded at home by pioneering artists using analogue equipment and actual audio tape. That’s right – dig out your old four tracks, eight tracks, and boombox experiments. Let’s hear your gems from the vault – go back as far as you dare and post a blast from the past. As with all MacJams song submissions, entries must be original compositions or covers of songs in the public domain.
The only requirement for posting is that the work predate December 31st 1999 and was created using analogue recording equipment. We realize that these restrictions might exclude some members from submitting entries to the festival - but we hope that everyone will enjoy the experience and come to the show to have fun.
Start posting now - the festival peaks Labor Day weekend!
Now that Labor Day has come and gone - it's time to pull up stakes, fold up the tents, send back the johnnies, and find a nice place to winter-over till next year's festival rolls around.
Till then - thanks to everyone who contributed, listened, commented, or scratched there heads and just moved on - truth is we couldn't have done it without all of you.
See you next year -
