Bio:
Mandolinist and graduate student at the University of Vermont, currently student teaching and attempting to stay afloat.
I'm still really new to the whole Garageband scene, figuring out a great deal about the home recording process while putting down some musical ideas, editing, and mastering. Most of the stuff I will probably be posting on the site are small musical sketches and vignettes that have been kicking around my head. Rather than posting fully developed, complete songs, most of the stuff I'm planning on posting will be dusty little nuggets that I find interesting...passing thoughts.
I'm currently attempting to prove to the world that the mandolin is a much more diverse instrument than many people give it credit for. Unless you see otherwise, all the stringed stuff you hear on these pieces is mandolin... not guitar.
Hey, check out Mystified's remix of "Interlude #2" here:

And Karmatoburn and John Kopr's remix of "Invention #16" here:

I hope you guys dig the sounds. See you around the site!
