I have been on MacJams for about five months now. I was introduced to it by a fellow maccentric friend who thought I'd enjoy the community. I was born in Texas and grew up near Austin. I moved up here in 2006 and I'm staying. I haven't spent as much time recording this summer because it was, well, it was summer. But the days are getting shorter here so more time with the guitars and computer:)

Music Background
I listen to just about everything from Ambient Electronica (Bluetech) to Alternative (Smashing Pumpkins) to Blues (Robert Johnson, Buddy Guy) and Classic Rock (do I need to put anything here?). I can only sing folk rock or folk though. I really wish I had a blues voice:-p I am a tone fanatic and a total gear head to boot.
Music Skills
Well I started out on piano at age 8 and was self taught untill 16 then I bought my first guitar and taught myself that. Then When I was 25 I was playing in two bands at the same time and it stopped being fun and started being work and I burned out and hung it up for almost 4 years. Now I'm back with a passion. My playing chops aren't what they used to be but my writing is better than ever (at least I think it is:-p). Production fascinates me and I am learning as fast as I can so if you listen to one of my tracks and have pointers please let me know.
