Bio:
just moved over to macjams a little bit ago. i've been posting on icomp for a while and decided to check this site out. born in the '40s, i'm 'just a tired ol' harp player who has a few tunes down that i thought might be of interest. i spent the last few years cooped in the high desert of farmington, nm playing local gigs and the ocassional festival and retirement party. moved back to central ny in june of this '07 and still have some music going on.
i've played with steve sprague, john kelly, adam (the painter) clark, joe beard and the blues union, dee dellas, billy joe and his foot, jeeves, jeeved, the jack band and the adam john two-tet to run off a few
i pretty much record in my own home, on my own gear, on my own label. i like ribbon mics, tube pre-amps, sweet voices and slippery slide guitars (never been much into puppy dogs and walkin in the rain); tasty beats, muted trumpets and a discord resolution. not into confrontations and if i'm faced with one i either say "i quit!" or "you're fired!"
currently i'm trying my hand at production and post production. BY GEORGE! i think i like it!
