The Interrupted Serenade

Description
This is Number 9 in the Prelude Book 1 by Claude Debussy, written for solo piano in 1910. I had always imagined the piece as depicting young Spaniards serenading a lovely señorita on a balcony who are periodically chased away by her padre, but you're welcome to imagine your own scenario.

So much fun to listen to this piece
Such humor in the writing (thanks Claude) and in the
performance and programming. Excellent Keith. Just
beautiful.

Quirky
The modulating dynamics of this thing is amazing, such a
witty and stimulating piece of music. Makes me think of
some of Philip Glass's electronic ventures. Im glad I spotted
thins one. DL
