Description
THE FINAL MIXED AND MASTERED VERSION OF THIS TRACK IS AVAILABLE ON MY DEBUT ALBUM, "SOMETHING".
http://www.simig.com/records/artists/peter/peter.htm
THIS VERSION IS CLOSE TO FINAL BUT NOT THE FINAL.
Back in January (New Years Day) I did a short sketch version of this concept that I had up on MJ for a while. So it may look familiar, but it has grown and changed tremendously since then.
I don't know what genre suits this.
All parts were performed or programmed myself. Only one loop used (AMG Ved. Birayani percussion). The sound effects were created by flipping through the pages of an edition of Gray's Anatomy, applying various effects on two different tracks and mixing between them.
Photo of "Betweeness" graffiti taken in dark Roman alley about 2002.

Lyrics
Where is the time
there's nothing better here
In some buried dream
I'd found a new year
And all we can feel
is all we can say
the strength I have used
I took from you
With every breath
we open doors
and we feel it in the air
we whisper evermore
there's nothing better here
In some buried dream
I'd found a new year
And all we can feel
is all we can say
the strength I have used
I took from you
With every breath
we open doors
and we feel it in the air
we whisper evermore

...some of can't even afford the paperback edition of
Gray's Anatomy...let alone the CLASSIC paperback edition
with the gold top pick-ups and maple rag low acid paper
so obviously used here...
Hell, man, this is amazing...
You are letting yourself go with your voice...this is an
astonishing vocal...the writing, the harmonizing...it's as
good as it gets...It's its own thing entirely...
PLUS you've got an excellent graphic...
I'm the long-winded version of speechless...
I almost never do this, but:
