Description
"A Bird Flies By The Window" was written right at the beginning of my first year in community college, a time in my life that i felt very alienated and irrelevant. Then the depression started. there were days that i'd find myself laying on the floor, thinking about how worthless and meaningless my life was and how permanant that felt. sometimes i'd look out the window and see birds fly by, unemcumbered by any of those types of thoughts. i envied them. a bird doesn't think about whether or not there is another being that cannot live without them. i wish i was more like a bird.

Lyrics
The other day i realized why my pillow's always wet with my own tears.
when i look in the mirror, i see the face of someone that i don't like.
(and nobody else does either)
insead of being relevent, im piling stones by corresponding shapes
(and colours)
a bird flies by the window where a ray of sunlight hits me on the floor.
god i would give anything to grow wings so that i could fly away.
(far away.)
(and i feel it.)
