Description
Duration: 11:41
Composed: 1999
Recorded: 2000
A musical reminiscence about love and loss.
The outer sections are based on a tango (or habañera) rhythm, but the more fiery middle section is not based on a specific dance form. Performed here by one of Canada's finest pianists, Kristina Szutor, this recording comes from her wonderful CD, "Bookends in Time."
If you are moved by Kristina's performance, you may also enjoy Jennifer's Tune, a jazzy, more light-hearted tune, played live.

Oh wow, This is excellent composing played by an excellent performer. A
very interesting interpretation of the Tango genre. I like the use of #9s
like everywhere in the middle section especially. This reminds me of Keith
Jarret for some reason.
