Description
This is a remix of my sophomore composition of 2005. The original arrangement was somewhat bare and dry, so I added some strings and percussions and enhanced some vocal harmonies.

Hey, Haribo...

How do you say "thank you" in Korean? No, you're supposed to answer that, not
a joke LOL (Ever heard of the "How does a Filipino..." jokes?)

Love it
Thanks, Skean. You are a constant source of positive attitude and energy in this
website, as you listen to a lot of music of other people. More people should be
like you, friendly yet honest and willing to spend time to listen to other people's
songs! In return, people have been listening to your songs and admiring them
as well!

Ooh!
Man, you sound good in this. Really.
The song itself is pretty cool - really nice beats - but your voice is the star
of this show.
Very nice!

Ooh!
Ah, finally someone takes notice and mentions the cool beats, and not just my
voice, not that I'm complaining :-) I really think it's a good pop song, which is
why I bothered to enhance and remix it.

Thanks for taking time to listen and comment, Einarus!

Nice remix
Has a lot thicker feel than the original. The added instruments really help
fill out the background. (Went back and gave the original another listen)
Sounds like you did a complete overhaul. Good solid pop song made even
better by your vocals.

Nice remix
JG, you were the reason I remixed this. I was going over the old songs I had and
re-read your comments. I totally agreed with your feedback on the original, that
it needed some "filling" as it was sounding too thin, so I sat down this afternoon
and worked on it. Thanks for those motivating remarks you always give me :-)

Man...
this just goes to show there's so much good music I have yet to discover!
Very good tune! Your vocals are excellent and smooth. I didn't hear the
original version, but this sounds very full and well mixed. Great job!
Leon said 1289 days ago (April 30th, 2006)
Man...
Aww, thanks a lot, Mikey!

Stylewise, dance/club/techno/trance is not my specialty, but I'm trying to
expand my musical horizons, so I learn from guys like you. I just checked
your songs, and found some gems there, too. I downloaded them for my own
musical education and appreciation! You have a talent for dance/techno
based on what I've heard, so for you to praise this dance song makes it a very
meaningful remark.

Thanks again!

(Hey, a least one of your songs need some vocals, too I think :-)

Good Song Leon!
This is a really good song Leon, and i think it is your voice that carries this song. The reason for that is that i am not particularly fond if this music genre, But your voice really makes me like it anyway. The strings and the instruments really makes this a pleasant soundscape. I feel there is some Trance influence in the arrangement. I havent been much on macjams lately so it is good to come back to your beautiful voice Leon!
Leon said 1289 days ago (April 30th, 2006)
Good Song Leon!
Hey, Magnus..missing you, man! :-)

Thanks for appreciating the song even though admittedly it is not your
favorite genre. Good to hear that "real musicians" can say very positive
feedback even if they do not really make or listen to this kind of music.
Actually, that makes your comment even more rewarding!

I did not intend for it to sound like trance at first. I was aiming for a rock/
pop kind of energy, but the strings and pads were beginning to make it
sound very good, so i went with the flow... It's my first trance-like song :-)

Thanks again, Selters (the rockstar, not the beer :-) Hope to see you here
every now and then. I've been absent for a while myself, and I begin to shake
out of control if I don't come back here in 10 days! He-he!

Hi again, Nightbird! You must be a bird that sings even during the day, 'cause it
is morning and I just read your comment and I thought you just sang a
heart-warming song of praise to my song! You made me smile! Thanks so much

You're voice is awesome!
Good job, homie! It's an awesome song, it just seems to have a slow tempo for dance music. I don't which genre fits it better, so whatever. It's hard to catogorize. Why try? I like the layers of voices overlapping. I'll have to remember that trick. Good ending, too. Peezow!

Thanks, man. If you like something in a song from a genre that you usually
don't listen to, it means that song is effective. Thanks for saying that! I listen to
all sorts of songs, even if its not my favorite genre. I always learn something
from them, as i did from your song, too.

Thanks for taking time to listen and comment. :-)

our own american idol....
Hey, McBoy... If you have a Filipino girlfriend or if you ever meet one and she
sings a really nice song, approach her and tell her "Ang pangit mo!" Then
smile...

Oops.. forgot to tell you...after smiling, duck quickly or run away as fast as you
can. :-)

"I like this one" in Filipino is "Gusto ko ito!" For real. :-)

PS: I think I wanna give American Idol a try... NOT!!! He-he! But thanks for saying
I have a good enough voice to compete with those guys.

You want this
The beginning hops right into the song with a big boom which is cool.
You are really into this one and you can tell you really mean what you are
saying. Good combo of synths and real instruments, and the good
singing.

Thanks for the nice comments, Ben.

I have been reviewing my early songs and they really had a "beginner musician"
kind of arrangement and sounded dated. I wasn't really sure how to re-work
this song, but I picked up some good lessons and tips from a lot of great
musicians here (you're right up there on that list!) just by listening to their
music.

Oo...I want this!
Very nifty hook and great singing. I think I also want a little more production on your voice to match with the electronic sounds (but not enough to mask it of course!). This is unique, and I don't mean that in the "I can't think of something nice to say so I'll say 'unique'" kind of way. Really, this has a very original sound!

Well I don't know how many people have to tell you
that you have a fabulous voice before you believe it. I just discovered you by accident but this is amazing work: even among all the great music here at MacJams, this is superb. Thank you.
Cheers
