pretty outline
I like the song melody over the top of the piano and strings. Your singing
sounded a little hesitant and rushed on this, and a little too far away. I
think your voice should be a little closer, and maybe you can add a little
bit of room reverb to help it match the piano sound. Hopefully you will
post the lyrics. This sounds like a good first part of a song... then after
this you need a "chorus" section to change the repetition of the piano,
then repeat the first part again. The piano and strings and harmonies
sound a little bit like Beatles or ELO, nice stuff.

you gave me good suggestions. That will help when i go on with this song. This
moment the song is still swimming on the surface area, but i will dive in it
deeper the next time. Now i will add the Lyrics.

Melodic
This is a nice melodic track...I like the intimacy of the performace you
have here. Got a similar feel to some Cat Power material. I do agree that
you just boost the vocals up a bit..not too much but they do sound a little
hesitant in the mix
Very nice

Melodic
Thank you for your comment, and right,... it will be my main lesson to learn not
to hide anymore with my vocals.

Your beautiful spirit
shines through your song..I love the words, you have a sweet voice.
Your phrasing and song structure reminds me of John Lennon.
I understand the hesitancy when singing. Just remember, right before
you record your voice..take a moment..think about what's inside
you...you have a beautiful message. It's a rare gift to sing from the
heart. you do. Let that flow when you sing..of course you must think of
breathing and timing and pitch. ;-)
Sing the song, go back..mute that track, sing again, repeat that until
you've recorded the track 5 times. By the last time you will be really
relaxed.
Then you can listen through them and pick the phrases that you like
from each pass. Sometimes it all comes together on one recording.
Sometimes you may choose from 3 or 4.
Get those vocals out front. We want to hear you!
great job!

NICE LOVE SONG!
You didn't have to write a song to me? The voice is flat in a few places but i can hear the melody coming through! Maybe do a couple more vocal takes! SOunds pretty good overall! The better you get with singing the more you will turn up the vocal tracks! Nice Wildcat!

very good song
The strings and piano sound very nice - vocals a bit far back
I was looking at the comments so far on Lovesong, and they say similar
things to when I started at MJ - especially about vocals
I had no confidence in my voice, but people encouraged me to keep
trying and track it louder in the mix
I suspect your voice will improve dramatically as you get used to the
recording process - the song is very good
Touches of John Lennon as someone else said
it will be good to watch how you progress on this site

Nice tune
I liked the track, not my cup of tea, still good.

I thought the vocals in the middle were a bit light, just needed a bit more
punch.

Apart from that a nice melow track.
Well Done.

so charming...
The first song where your voice comes up to the forefront. And it sounds very soft and sweet. No doubt that this is indeed 'straight from the heart'. It shines through all the way.
Although I hear some hesitation in your voice, this is only a matter of exercise and experience. A little suggestion to enhance the singing in general: put only one shell of your headphones on, so the other ear stays 'free' to listen to your voice as you are used to, and not altered digitally. Stupid trick, but it always works for me to keep my tune.
You REALLY have a lovely voice, so bring it out, concentrate, repeat a hundred times until you're satified (gosh, you should know how many takes it costs ME everytime). Don't be scared to hear yourself singing. I can hear you progressing by every track you upload. And this one is real heart-music.

Well written
Your voice could be up a bit more. It should be the focal point, not the piano.
But, this is a very, very good song. Dido-ish.

You should revisited or redo this. It's great.
