Description

This is a quirky tin pan alley thing I put together in late November for a cabaret revue that I was in... but I didn't end up performing the song. I might peform it in April. Lol. I would like to put bass to this, but I feel like it should be a stand-up bass. I just messed around with the jazz drums in macjams and chopped them up. It could use a better arrangement.

Cabaret
This is a great demo. Like a cabaret performance theatrically performed. The drumming, in my ears, isn't needed, and at times seemed to disagree, rhythmically, with your playing. I prefer the image of a single performer at the piano. Unless you use bass, then the drums would work better. (I hope you put up the lyrics, too, since it would be easier to catch the wit and story.) Elements of Tori Amos, as well, tone of my favorites. Really enjoyable. It cries out for live performance, I hope you are able to do it.

	Fine work You've got a wonderful strong voice - sounds like you're singing with no effort at all. And that piano is delicious. Not sure about the drums - they don't always fit to my ears (perhaps I'm being over sensitive but I've had a bad experience with GB jazz drums myself). All in all tho' a witty and delightful track.
