Lyrics
Come to me my love we shall go together
Upon the hills and sea wind blows the grass and heather
When all things come to pass I'll don your hair with silver
Tell me your wildest dreams my heart shall never whither
See the stars shine brightly upon the river
See the night and day merge as one together
Worldy knowledge of pleasure and pain come to you
What shal be shall be my story needs to be told
Her is my soul
Here is my heart
The Jackdaw Sang..

Come to me my love we shall swim together
Through the foam and waves through the darkest weather
When all things come to pass I'll dress your shoulders in gold
Tell me your hearts desire, spirit never grows old
See the moon so clearly upon the water
See the earth and sky merge as one together
Worldy knowledge of love, death and life come to you
What shall be shall be my story needs to be told
Here is my heart
And here is my soul
The Jackdaw Sang..

Nice
This has 'radio play' written on it. I have a friend at the beeb who would possibly give this an airing on a folk show he runs, as mp3 of the week.
No promises, of course, but email me if you're interested & we'll get it to him.

Prog folk dance
I LOVE THIS! The vocals, the Jethro Tull way of creating progressive folk, the marimba, the joy it invokes. It makes me want to dance. In my ears, the instrumental break fails to rise to the level of the vocals section. I thought the marimba should have taken the solo, done in a jazz way, and perhaps a key change might have been nice, with some chordal variations there. The changing/shifting reverb in the ending vamp also didn't make sense in my ears. But I truly appreciated the life and vibe of this uplifting track. I am still smiling...!

Tobin..
you always have such an observant ear! I dont understand the reverb at the end either - I did so many mixes of it but this was the only one that survived.I'm glad you find it uplifting - I guess the unaltering key comes from listening to some indian/scottish music where they make use of the 'drone' - that continous meditative chant that they use.The marimba.. - I can never get enough of it.I keep trying to hijack a real one from work!

One of My Favorite Styles
I'm a big fan of the whole progressive folk/rock thing a la Jethro Tull, Strawbs, Pentangle, and Flairck...so I really love this song! This is really well put together...perfect instrumentation with the harmonium, tablas, acoustic guitar and accordions (and of course marimba). Off to listen to more of your music!
