Panther verse
Such a clear performance and recording. Great job. Are those sop sax licks, etc., samples or live players? I'd love to know more about this track. (Cite the other guys?) Really well done.

A state
Toblin, as I know, I dont know where these guys are now. I was blessed with the CD of local unknown artists trying to break out. I was considering working with them, but I have no information on them. However, I may be able to visit some of my frequent affiliate spots here in Atlanta that hosts some spoken work events, and maybe some one may point me out in their direction.

Or better yet, I can give you the spots and numbers and you can investigate. Would you like that?

well well well
I didn't know what to expect here as I'm not a big poetry fan but this is so different. It reminds me a lot of Captain Beefeart and also of an old record I have [78rpm]from 1928 called -The Crap Alley game by Georgia Tom and Tampa red. I love the playing as well, usually doodling is really irritating but here it actually compliments the spoken word. An absolute classic as far as I'm concerned.
John.

I like
Good stuff. It's like a slow rap, and that seems to make the words clear, thoughtful, and more convincing. The sax is the perfect accompaniment. Thanks for posting it.
