We've noticed a rash of bad cop/worse cop stories in the news as of late..... never in a free society should the public have to live in fear of their police force who have been sworn "to serve and protect" them.... yet we do....and for good reason.... unwarranted search and seizure.... invasion of privacy .... tazings.... beatings .... abuse of power.... the militarization of our domestic and supposedly non-military police force....and we are suppose to worship these heroes??
We are 2 shakes from martial law....

Am I saying all cops are bad?? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!
I have relatives who are cops and FBI agents.... I live in a town where, at least the ones I know, the police are good people doing a good job.... who are serving and protecting the public.... and bless them for doing a tough and thankless job that needs to be done....

But sadly there are those....all over this country.... who do not meet this benchmark.... I've even had cops tell me that a lot of other officers are nothing more than classic high school bullies who are still acting like Neanderthals via a badge and a gun....

In addition, and sadly, there are now memorandums going out to police departments and federal agents telling them to look for people who carry copies of the pocket constitution. According to the memo, if you carry a pocket constitution you are most likely a domestic terrorist.... So if you are a high school student in the US you have to take the constitution test in order to graduate....but don't you dare carry that on you....God forbid you should refresh yourself on the fundamentals on how our country is suppose to work...do a little research for yourself....you won't have to look far to see what is taking place....

And to be clear...WE DO NOT CONDONE VIOLENCE OR TERRORIST ACTS AGAINST ANY GROUP OF PEOPLE DOMESTIC OR FOREIGN..... We believe that blood only begets more blood.... so this song IS NOT a call to pick up your gun and storm the gates....

It is a call for us to peacefully say "NO MORE!!"
Because we do not have to stand by and allow injustice to carry on....we can do better than this.... Our police can do better than this....An enlightened country should admit,learn from and repair our mistakes.... and we should avoid the repeating of such mistakes....

as far as the music is concerned.....this is an in your face rock song.... I've had friends compare it to Army of Anyone, Velvet Revolver and Skid Row lol.... hey at least Skid Row's 2nd record was killer....peace
