Description
Continuing on with my remastering project, here is a song that I always liked but the mix was just terribly unlistenable. This song has some great lyrics and a nice feel. As always, any advice on the mix is always appreciated.

Rich Huston (Bass, Mix)
Troy Woody (Drums)

Wall of Fog

Lyrics & Vocals: Chris Winters
Music: Rich Huston, Chris Winters, Troy Woody

Reaching out carefully
Try to reach my glass
Ignore everybody
Everyone much too fast
Slowly now raise it up
Someone is talking to me
What’s that -- I’m still here
I’ll answer wait and see

Waking up is hard enough
And the journey across the room
Last time nearly killed me
Feels like I’m on the moon
Can’t think can’t concentrate
Words slide right off the page
Numbers dance away from me
Can’t escape from this cage

Feeling my way
Through this wall of fog
Time slowed down
To a baby’s crawl
You can’t understand it
Fighting with the air
Just give me one more minute
I’m almost there
My limbs have turned to concrete
My head is in the clouds
I’m feeling every limit
Of what is now allowed

Cymbals
Drummers seem to be afraid to use cymbals nowdays. They are always muted, in the background. Thanks for the kind words :)

Tight Band
There are only two of us, so not sure if we are a "band" as of yet (how many people constitutes a band? I guess the White Stripes only have two people). Anyway, thanks for the kind words.
