Description
Here I am again, attempting to accompany myself on the ukulele. This time, I tried to practice the song a couple of times before recording. Novel idea, isn't it? Doesn't make it great, just slightly less painful.
In my intro I mention a chord I can't play. The chord comes on the word "morn" as in "Rise up so early in the morn". Listen for it because on some fluke I actually hit the chord. My shock at doing so causes a moment's hesitation as I realize I do not have to spend several more measures searching for it and can just keep singing. That moment of silence cracks me up every time.
And now without further ado, have fun laughing at me as I attempt to perform this wonderful old American standard.

Lyrics
I've been working on the railroad
all the live long day
I've been working on the railroad
just to pass the time away
Can't you hear the whistle blowing?
Rise up so early in the morn
Can't you hear the captain shouting
"Dinah blow your horn!"
Dinah won't you blow?
Dinah won't you blow?
Dinah won't you blow your horn?
Dinah won't you blow?
Dinah won't you blow?
Dinah won't you blow your horn?
Someone's in the kitchen with Dinah
Someone's in the kitchen I know
Someone's in the kitchen with Dinah
strumming on the old banjo
and singing "Fee fi fiddley I oh.
Fee fi fiddley I oh.
Fee fi fiddley I oh!"
Strumming on the old banjo.
