Description
I originally posted this a month or so ago, but the mix was pretty bad, so I took it down, did some tinkering and, voilà, here it is again. Hopefully I fixed some of the mix issues from before.
As I said last time, this is the result of spending a warm Southern spring afternoon working in my garden listening to all the Neil Young my iPod can hold.
The tune is in no hurry to get done and will cost you seven minutes of your life, but hopefully, you won't mind.
Thanks to everyone who listened and commented when I had it up before. I hope you get a chance to check it out again.

Soil

Dig up the soil
Drop in the seeds
And watch
the garden grow
Plants open upt their leaves
And turn to the sun
Roots reach deep
into the gorund
Let this garden grow
And cover this great land
Let the Earth feed her children
Every woman,
every man
Dig your hands into the soil
Dig up the soil
Fertilize the land
Spread the word
on the wind
Dig into the soil
Feel the Earth on my hands
nature flows
over me
Let this garden grow
And cover this great land
Let the Earth feed her children
Every woman,
every man
Dig your hands into the soil
Make me a home
with the earth as my ceiling
and the water and the wind
cover me
Say a prayer
to the sun and the moon
may they always watch
over me
Let this garden grow
And cover this great land
Let the Earth feed her children
Every woman,
every man
Dig your hands into the soil
