Fancy meeting you here? Great tune, well written and performed and sung (love the harmonies!) Wish I had your talent for playing an instrument and singing, sigh. Enjoy the gifts you have, and this little spot you call "halfway next to nowhere"... I think it is a pretty nice place to be. :-) Glad to see you here again.

It's Got That...
nice Texas feel to it, John.

This song has a sweet sound, with some solid guitar work. But since you asked... what I think may detract a little from the overall sound is the somewhat choppy, almost staccato phrasing of the lyrics in your verses.

Sometimes the words can fit the beat too well and leave that impression. I think if you spend a little more time with the vocals, you can give this song the relaxed, flowing feel the music seems to call for.

But it's a cool song and in general, I liked it a lot. ;)

	What nice treat Love the words to this! As I recall, I really enjoyed the first version of this, but I'm really diggn' this composition. It's certainly a lot more restrained in it's presentation, but that brought forth the message and gave this a feeling of having more sustenance. Very well done, John.
