wet sound on the guitar (rhythm) is cool - a retro feel. Nice love song. Amp noise sound needs to go away at least at the end.....

Nice to have you drop in. The wet guitar is David's... all the soling and the ending stuff, nice. I think this version came out as a better one than the original. Not sure as to the "amp" sound (here at work on tiny speakers). Rich might be able to comment. Thanks again.

Amp sound? I suppose if I had SoundSoap Pro I could get rid of it. My mixes tend to accumulate a lot of white noise and I really don't know what to do about that other than build a $100,000 sound studio with lots of foam sound proofing and complimentary airline tickets for Jack and David. In the meantime, try to focus on the good sounds we squeak out. LOL. Thanks for your discerning ear, Harold.

I do like this one better but I find the vox and sax kind of are at the same range and beat a little. I think the level of the sax needs to come down some during baby baby.

I'm listening in cans and it comes through pretty obvious but it just could be my bad ears!

This is still a really sweet tune!

couple of suggestions.
1. "chain link fence"??? tmi, just fence
2. overall mix
The instrumentation is very good but not blended enough for a jazzy piece I think. If I might suggest the "jazz club" preset in GB4 (unless of course that's the one you're using, in which case, nm :)

Everyone has a problem with chain link fence except me. Bless my soul, why can't you all understand? The fence is a metaphor for containment. Climbing the fence represents overcoming limitations of income or self-doubt. Chain link fence is especially poignant in my case since I have one surrounding my yard. And a common appellation for West Side youth is "fence jumper" (which suggests fleeing from the cops). Chain link fence is rich with meaning but no one likes it. When I get rich and famous I will sing anything I damn please and never back down.

Er, make that "fence jumper" -- Character mapping is still broken between so many apps and platforms. I long for the old days of hot and cold type when a character always printed out on a type galley as expected. Those were the good old days.

You guys are so good its really hard to find anything, so everything I have is subtle and probably subjective. I would like to hear the scat singing a little louder. The bass is too smooth (soft) for me. And the bass drum fills seem too heavy. Cool song!
