Sounds really good. Nice work.

I love dark songs cool bass u have in there and then the synths come in like an angel fighting against the dark ending of something nasty.. Cool work my friend... Cheers

no matter how much we might like it to cease. Churchill said, "If you're going through hell, keep going."
Good advice. The other choice is cowardly. Thanks.

Really driving beats in this - keep the whole piece moving relentlessly forward into the darkness. Love the mix of synth sounds and electric guitar. Cool ending - the cessation, a relief, a skipped heartbeat. And I really like the underlying soundscape that ebbs and flows throughout. Very cool tune.

growlin' bass, mate! love the slowslowslow vibe. really nice synth work coming in suddenly and beautifully. tight filtering/reverb on your different elements. everything sits really nicely in the mix. big stylez!

I love the deep base sounds!!! Vocals would be fun.... :)
Really good!
Nice opening low-end stink groove. The change-up is awesome.
I'm hearing Steve Craig-ish (echoroom) vocals. God, I miss him! Perhaps also some gritty echo electric slide guitar riffs here and there.
Truth is, a great sound bed like this one can be developed any number of ways. I'll be interested in hearing how this turns out.
Be well!

This spills off the page that bass just grabs you by the boo boo! I think some vocals on this would round it out . Some interesting changes in this. YOu must have been in a dark place when you wrote this.not that its a bad thing. I feel its a great place to start some music. Enjoyed thanks!
Hi..Nice..But I guess I have to disagree with everyone else..The bass or key is just to low..I'm not sure even a different patch would work..Maybe up an octave with a sub beneath, real beneath or just trans pose it up a whole tone..Sounds great compositionally..I never leave comments..But figured I'd give it a go....J
Or try using a bass tone and octave up With the one you have..Don't think it will work but worth a try. Notes this low with the tone used just don't translate. At least for me..I am only attempting to be helpful..So I hope you can understand that..I do like the way you keep the kik and bass out of each others way however..Again nice song..J

i appreciate your comments, and i understand what you mean. i intended to have the bass sound "distorted," and i was reasonably satisfied with how it came out. i had first tried recording the bass line, and then using an audio editor to bring it down an octave or slow it down, for effect, but it did not sound good.
my main complaint with the way it sounds now, is that the low C comes out as a growl that almost fades out. but i don't know if it sounds "interesting," or if it just sounds "bad." i couldn't figure out any other way to get the really low, gritty, and slightly warped bass effect i was trying to achieve...
Hi..I'm off to work so just figured you might find this usefull.. http://www.native-instruments.com/index.php?id=koreplayer&L=1&nitr=1&l_src=home&tsr_id=66659 ..It is free and has some bass sounds that might be of interest..It uses the sound engines from Massive,,FM8 and Absynth, as well as others..Low C is tuff..The frequency content can overcome the tonic using some oscillators..Tricky indeed..J

but I guess the right kind of vocal could work as well. Many interesting things going on, great dynamics, both in volume and pitch(?) Obviously some people found that bass interesting enough to go on 'til the end, didn't they?! (But, yes it IS low, or Glocalnet as we'd say in Sweden - a "commercial's joke" ;-)
Thanks,
Henke

I'm very late, but I discover today your track and I cannot refrain from writing some words to greet this excellent piece, nice job. Bravo !
And I'll be interested in hearing how this turns with vocals...

A great mixture of sounds and great work. It doesn't grow old to the ear.
