Hardware:
My typical set up is an iMac with Garage Band. I play a modified Fender Strat and Fender Precision Bass. To help modify the sound I run the Strat through a Cry Baby Wah Wah, Ibenez TS9DX Tube Screamer, Johnson J-Station Amp Modeler and Blue Tube Stereo Preamp. The bass is also modified by the J-Station. The drums are Drums On Demand.
Art work by Roger Dean.

Garage Band

Groovy baby!
One very cool groove. All you need are several other
musians to take this piece in other directions while still
maintaining that cool rythm. Just my opinion. Other wise I
like it a lot.

That guy has a tail!
Nice chops! Great to hear a real bass, what a difference! I'm not familiar with Drums On Demand, but your percussion arrangement is great.

The balance of the mix is good, but overall it sounds a little muddy. Maybe add some EQ in the higher frequencies? (8-7-8-7)

Thanks To All
Chikoppi, I took your advice and others on this mix and I think it's an improvement over my past songs. Again when I listen to this on quality monitors I'm pretty happy with the mix. I'm still trying to maintain some warmth to the sound to keep the digital harshness to a minimum. Thanks I'll keep trying as you and Packo do, to improve my mixes.

I hope I got bombed and that someone really didn't feel I deserved the 3's and if I did deserve the 3's let me know why.

Melt that ice!
Really nice. Excellent playing, great wah, and nice mix.
And I dug the drumming too. Thoroughly impressive.
...And I'm glad to see Roger Dean back in business!
