As a kid growing up I was greatly effected by Elivis, I guess I was about 10 or 11 at the time.
I guess that was the catalyst that got me into wanting to play the guitar. One of the tunes that I dearly loved was "Wooden Heart".
I know it wasn't what you call one of his cool tunes. But I dearly, dearly loved the swiss element. I guess it was the innocence and had an austrian, swedish polka feeling. If done right that kind music gets to me every time. Upon hearing Elvis doing Wooden Heart, it just blew me away, in it's happy type of feeling. To bad happier music can't be played like this. Maybe the words are somewhat sorrowful but the music was and is quite uplifting to me. Maybe some of you felt the same way on hearing the Elvis tune.
So, though much different, that tune more than anything help inspire me to record this:
"In Memory of Wooden Heart"

The way start this off, so delicate in that high register is perfect. Then you bring the melody down, lovely. It is happy and cheery. Your production, as usual, is excellent.
