Description:
I heard this poem from El Peruano (www.macjams.com/song/45753)and I thought it was very good, it reminded me of the Marquis de Sade expressing what true freedom is. It is interesting how freedom can also mean the freedom of being bad in moralistic and ethical terms. However people do have a knack of justifying themselves. Anyway El Peruano kindly redid the poem at a set bpm so that I could make music round the words more easily and this is the result, its sounds like a mixture of Dub and Hip Hop. Hope you all enjoy it. |

Hey hey, Keith, what a great collab... Love it, TX.

Great sound bed Keith, very, very creative - not as narrow sounding as most Hip Hop I've heard. Fits the poem superbly, the music is attention grabbing but somehow the words and poem also manage to grab attention at the same time. Very clever. Great lyrics and rapping too by El Peruano.
Cheers

I absolutely love what you did with it. its got a sci-fi futuristic feel that really goes nicely with the philosophical theme: what is freedom? id love to work with you again. got any old beats hanging around that need vocals?
thanks again. i really love it.
ElPeruano

it is a compelling music, and compelling words. we are free to impose rules and morals on each other. however, it is known that freedom from any rules or morals is a terrifying place. this music and these words force thoughts about this. it is well done. 0x0

this is excellent. I love the poem - brilliant exposition of a complex morality, and the music works very well here, adding a layer of brightness behind the dark words. Wonderful stuff. Nicely done. Peace.
