Lyrics
hope
in an endless river
trees they give all they have
friuts full and healing

wake up with eyes half shut
wipe the night before
breathing heavy
sitting asking for more
the never ending day shows no mercy
shows no mercy
still
wonder about that day
that becomes
finds itself
that finished plan
that believes in help again
just tell a lie
its about to end this river tonight
behind the lonely wall we build
and we knew what we would say back
in 1984
motorhead who wants anything more
I was planning forever
I was planning everything
I ever wanted to do
and I think that you knew
when you gave me away
when tell me what to say
and I knew
when you fear
in your heart
what you want
everyday
you just tell me
what to do
what to say
how to think
how to feel
how to feel
how to see
and everyday
that were here
there just tellin us to fear
they want us to fear
what what fear?

I wiah ...
...I understood your lyric. To me, it's so obscure that I can't really figure it out, and I don't want to speculate about what I THINK it means. But musically, this is really well-produced and certainly very intricately orchestrated with well-thought-out additions here and there. The percussion track -- a loop? Oh...oops, it just...ended. I sort of wanted at least a fade out of instruments...Just a thought.
Hey. Glad you posted this. I don't write anything like this, but I appreciate the effort and cleverness it takes to do what you have done. Thanks. (Oh, and I think you bother because...well...because your song DOES have an audience that wants to hear you speak.)
Peace.
Paul

oh yeah
great tune Tim.
very imaginative composition and it rocks. i always like the fact that you can work the abstract into cohesiveness. and like I've been saying your vocals have become most confident!

Woah!
intense! I think thats a good word to describe this tune.
I cant begin to get my head round how you came up with this but it works. I like the 2(or more) differing styles of vocal going on. One slightly more aggressive than the other. It makes for a good sound which reminded me a little of early stuff from that guy from janes addiction?
A quirky tune which must have taken a hell of a lot of work. I enjoyed the listen and can honestly say it's growing on me the more I listen.
Cheers

I have to agree
with Paul. I like the music and the production but I can't figure out the message.

Nicely done production wise!

Your voice has an English style tone that goes very well with the song.

Excellent production!

I like the direction you have gone recently
This is a really good and interesting track. Sounds almost like a mixture of Talking Heads and PIL. Love the sounds and dubby feel to the track, really good. Nice one Ego.

Quirky stuff
Love your word play. Sort of free style imagery. Just keep letting it flow.

tune. did you do this with Reason and then dump it all into GB for the live stuff? the drums are really cool and go perfectly with that slippery guitar. great track.

Way cool. Tim!
Drums are great. Lyrics are interesting. I'm guessing: this is "life",... though it might not be perfect, still,... it is worth it! Very unique. I enjoyed it. Thank you.

Rhythms
Interesting choice of percussion on this one, kind of peter gabriel style. I like how the vocals are out front, your guitar and bass are good, but they seem more comfortable behind the singing. Good one.

Thanks
Bill

man very cool idea, to create a memory song out of the same stuff that the memory is made of. Astute obs. in an earlier comment that compared it to PIL and Talking Heads (also the Clash-ic percussion). Really really dig this, my docs are tap tapping under my desk. Thanks!!
