Description:
Finally I get time to work on a song after finals! This is my holiday gift to you (And hopefully I'll have another one up soon too!). Alrighty inspired by another Dream Theater song called "Hell's Kitchen"- it turned out alright I think so hopefully the rest of you don't think it sucks entirely. It's pretty proggy, abstract, ambient, and experimental. I was trying to capture that moment where you're in deep thought with all kinds of images flashing for a few hours- that deep train of thought moment that constantly changes. I think it works well so I'm curious what the rest of you think. The static has been removed from a rendering error from the last version and also has the bass guitar since for some reason it wasn't rendered in the last version. Hope you enjoy it and happy holidays! :D

Thanks so much Feter. I'm sorry you had to comment again since I deleted the previous version which lacked the bass guitar and had a static pop at the end. Always trying something new. I got to look into your latest works and others. I have to say your collaboration "Your Moonlight" was awesome! :D

the guitar work is really something else. Abstract and compelling listen.
Kori Arashi
Thanks tokai. I was trying to make it like moment where you're in deep thought and your mind is drifting from subject to subject. Hopefully I captured that feeling although I'm not quite sure about that haha.

Hmmm. I still think it's very creatively complex and kicks ass too. That's a winning combination. Excellent guitar wailing.

Thanks so much! I'm glad you and others enjoyed the guitar. I wasn't sure if it'd fit since I was trying something new but it looks like people enjoyed it thankfully. Can't have the song too soft so there needs to be some surprises making it progressive with unusual beats and throw in a little bit of heavy metal double bass beats haha. Thanks again : )
Wummimann
a lot of ideas in this tune. great guitar work!
Kori Arashi
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the mixture of all sorts of things here : )
Doadars Uncle
Very juicy! You need more finals if this is the result. Your guitar really sings!
Kori Arashi
Haha does it now? It squeals half the time like a guinea pig to me- maybe I'm imagining things too much now lol. As long as everyone is happy about it I'll make some new songs to share : )
segiperkasa
