Description:
This was a test track for what was going to be my MJ Cover Challenge submission. I knew I wanted to do a cover of Tim's song, "People"...I just didn't know what direction I wanted to go with it. I didn't want to do a strict cover tune, but rather a variation (I think he nailed the original direction of that song in a way I couldn't replicate). It finally came down between a Texas swing version and this mellow acoustic take. As usual, real life intervened, and I didn't finish what I started...but I always liked this live take, as sloppy as it was. After running across it tonight, I decided to post it...warts and all. Enjoy!
