Ha! You are really on fire right now, my friend! What a cool track and the background vocal stuff sounds so amazing. You really seem to be on a roll creatively. Maybe those boring business trips are giving you the chance for all those creative juices to really get flowing. The grove is just really infectious and I think by the second time through the song I have the lyrics memorized. :) This was a fun pick-me up this morning. Thanks for that! Mikki! One of the things I enjoy about your posts is that you try things that are very familiar, but somehow, just not so familiar. I also enjoy how you try things that I certainly wouldn't attempt - this is a good example. The (lack of) lyrics is a particular point. It would never occur to me to use such minimalist words in a song - the title is longer than all the lyrics put together :) Musically this is tight and well produced.
