Description
Okay, I know I'm really late in the game on this, but I was very interested in singing alongside Alimar and SlimGirlFat... so here it is, late. :) My intent was to try and design a vocal hook to complement the song. :)

Damn fine job.
Thanks man! Usually, I've been avoiding replies on my own songs, cos it gets
hard to read the comments, but I had to say thanks! It was a great track to
begin with and tons of fun to sing on. Okay, back to industrial :P

"Heh!" (that's what POS always says)
Remember, I told you in iChat we should have combined
our efforts (but I guess your workload was pretty heavy)!!!!
Heh! (again). When Slimmie told me you also were doing
vocals, I wasn't sure you'd be including my backing tracks.
Thanks, MAN! The Slimmie-PackO-Alimar Trio! What a
gas!!! SURPRISE!

"Heh!" (that's what POS always says)
I do say "heh" alot, don't I? Heh!

Oh man, I dug your vocal treatment, it was cool cos' even when I laid mine
out rough before I'd heard yours, I knew they'd still work well together. And
yes, work has been so hectic, it's tough to take time away to do a full on
collab.

Dreamy
Really wonderful vocals. What a great song! It's like an
aural tapestry.

Up & Up
I am so pleased you took the time to add your vocals to
this Packo.
It has lifted the whole track right up. I am thrilled!

Completely..

Yes!
An easy one to add to my favorites...I love the vocal textures as well as the sparse yet enhancing instrumentation. Great mix and balance between all parts...maybe the beat should be mixed up a little though, it can get repetitive.

Wow
packosmoke's extra vocal line really made a huge
difference. This is very lush vocal arrangement.
The music is perfect for this song as it does not fight with
all the delicate harmonies you guys have put together.

It was a good track before
but it's even better now. Pardon the pun, but your voice is
smokin'! Nice work.

Super Expressive
Yeah I agree with someone above, I forget who and I'm
too lazy to scroll. There's a lot going on here, but nothing
gets it the way. I'm sensing Peter Gabriel funneled through
some of those eighties "new romantic" bands. You have
some great pipes!!! Vocals aren't bad either. Hehehe.

Zesty!
I envision a video with lots of images of the sea, waves, the sun flashing over the horizon, arial footage sweeping along Mediterranean coasts...

This is a great compliment to an already fantastic song. The vocals fit like a glove (surprisingly so!). The additions add a powerful melodic hook. Damn. Wish I could sing!

Talk about too busy
I think I missed the original. Glad I caught this version -
can definitely hear shades of Gabriel here - I think Packo
does add some nice flourish and polish here, not sure of
all his contribution, but I do recognize his voice when it
pops up - and it's all absolutely on-point. Nice work folks.
Glad Jam Sessions is around now to at least prod me
about people''s submissions.

vocal mix. Hats off to you Slim and Alimar. Superb.

I love it.
Your vocals reminded me of sting. I think they really
complimented the song. I like that it added clerity to the
ambient vocals, a more upfront sound.

hmmmm....
Tricky one this....I'm a big fan of your vocals as I have said
before and you have been pretty amazing at adapting to
all styles (Rubbish, Scooby etc. as well as your industrial
stuff) with considerable aplomb. This is not bad. But I
think that's the problem. Everything else you have done
has been spectacular and I think the backing track
ALMOST shows up the lead line here because it IS almost
perfect. It nearly sounds like you are straining on a
couple of notes and sort of grasping for the next note to
sing. This is ULTRA harsh because it's you, dude.. For
almost anyone else I'd say excellent. I like this but not as
much as I thought I would.

Good but not great.

p.s. FWIW still wish I had a voice like yours.....

heightened, tightened and improved!
I liked Slimmie's previous version of this track (w/Alimar)
well enough, but somehow it was missing something --
YOU, PackO!!

Your vocal contribution rounded out this mix to make it
even more lush, and as others have said, not TOO much.
Very tasteful.

Everything is tightened up, the groove is better.
Congratulations, all!

great work..
on an already great song. i think most people would have
shied away from messing with this one. ;) your vocal
additions 'fit' very well, like they were supposed to be
there all along. only thing that keeps bugging me is that
your vox track seems to overpower (volume) the others in
places. it's the only hint that this wasn't all mixed at the
same time. regardless-it's really good stuff. hats off to
slimgirl & mr. al
