Eastern Promise (MJRF Mix)

Description
This is a remix of the Eastern Promise track I did in my first year at Macjams. I originally did this track on a sequencer called Kristal Audio, which only used wav samples, and I could only keep samples in which were the same bpm (except for fx and vocals). Alot of the same samples are in this track, but I could not find all of them, so there are a couple of new ones and of course the vsti's. Hope you enjoy it.

excellent
what strikes me the most while listening to this track is the flow of the elements. neat and professional, you keep on growing, certainly if you re-use old material will it make your remember where you came from and where you have arrived today. excellent track my friend!

Trippy
Very powerful effect from the contrast between the light tinkly sounds over a woolly bass. And the eastern scales sit very happily over the top. Enjoyed.

boomy bass is AOK
the boomy bass seemed a bit much at first, but it really started growing on me as you brought more elements. so nevermind, the boomy bass makes perfect sense!

nice one

thanks

Too much
IMO, and I'm probably the only one, I thought the bass was entirely overwhelming. It took over and over powered some of the subtler things going on I would have liked to have heard. I could still hear them, but I was too distracted by the boom, boom, BOOMBOOMBOOMBOOM, boom to be able to really enjoy them.
