Lyrics
oh what a broken morning it is we wake to
was it a dream in which she pronounced me dead
you agree as i hail my murder
you are pleased as i bow this faceless head

she is the way that you go....

in the center of this circle
you have paved a world that i must breathe
only the air cupped within your smile
the mouth that laughed on the fall of my belief

she is the way that you go cold.

thank you
Yes, my piano keys do make loud sounds.. I record on garageband and I just put the computer near by the piano and recorded voice and piano at the same time. I think I will have to put the computer far away from the piano when I try it again to see if those sounds can be drowned out. Thank you for listening!

I love your voice and piano on the refrain. I'm a sucker for descending scales.

And I like that first verse a lot. It's morbidly fantastical, and I like the Plath-like, blunt, but not cliché, hint of suicide.

I agree with Feter, you can hear the sound of the keys hitting the piano, but I know this isn't meant to be your best recording. It's good to hear you again.

thanks
I am quite into descending scales too.
Yeah the recording is a problem... I think it is because my piano is a digital (an old digital) that the keys are so loud. I shall re-try when the time is found. Thanks!

Very cool tune!
I don't think the recording problem is the piano, it is your micing technique. We have to get you an interface and a real mic, not the built-in in the computer. Even a USB mic would help you out. Production aside, I love your work.

Like your style
You sound a lot like Nico from the Velvet Underground days, which is a compliment. Great lyrics. I think you are quite a talented song writer.

I'd like to hear a "clean" recording of one of your tunes too.
