This has got a nice lean edginess, not purely propelled by thump.... Different instruments or voices or sounds taking it in turns to push things along... Makes me wish I was thirty years younger and in a disco somewhere...
As is usally the case with your stuff, it's also a treat over the headphones.... You manage to make ear candy out of sounds that wouldn't necessarily, on their own, draw me in...
I mean, it needs some banjo, but what the heck...
And I know you don't want to hear this, but I've actually been working on that other piece again lately.... Really.... It's got some actual WORDS now....
