Description
I used some of your advices. Reworked drums with EZDrummer, added AUMatrixReverb to the Master channel and gave some presence to the Bass Line.

This has a live sound.
Much better than the original. The Ibanez sings. Why not start a melodic theme at 0:55? Or are you planning on vocals? Keep up the good work, Rolf!

Much better
This is a much better mix.
It's one thing to hear peoples advice ...but to actually turn it in to action takes some people time.
You've really taken note and make this mix so much better.
The drums sit nicely in the mix and feel a lot more fluid and groove nicely.
Great sort of 'live' feel to it.
Almost felt like I was in the room with a whole band playing.
Cool stuff

Quibas

OOO, much nicer, I really dig the bass, tad bit muddy, but i only mention it becasue I think you are looking to make this tune the best it can be (which is really good), but everything else is very well eq'd.

Nice live sound...
The arrangement is classic...like early Chicago sans horns. Really like the lead riffing throughout. And the lead solo smokes!

Drums could be just a little more forward in the mix for my tastes, but this is a really fabulous tune.

Glad I stumbled on this one!

Be well friend!
