this was played from the actual transcript that was taken from the version he recorded for the Gennett label in 1924. As I have said many times I have always admired this composition ever since I first heard it when I was in my early twenties.

	thanx muchly this has been my practice piece for years now, mainly because it's my favourite rag but I've only recently managed to get the exact piano transcripion. It claims to even have the mistakes though I wasn't aware of any. Check out my latest song called coalhouse blues

	thanx I love playing this stuff but it seems to be out of favour now - Joplin seems to be the flavour of the week now for some reason - i suppose it's prettier than Morton but I always prefered Jelly roll Morton. -More fire !!! John Check out my latest song called coalhouse blues
