Ah, Perfect last song before I quit for the night. So versatile, Bill. This is very romantic and restful. I love that bit of choral that gives it an ageless feel. Soft Day Smokey-VWan Kenobi, your Jedi video skills are excellent. I have a hard time even figuring out how to line up the audio/video in iMovie. . it's just iMovie. i used GarageBand for embellishing and mixing the audio and ex/imported back into iMovie. the video is based on one take. i didn't have very much additional material to work with, but i tried to make the most of it. lining up the audio was painful. after a few failed attempts, i did this: i lined up the audio once during the beginning. then i cut up the performance vid at exact multiples of 10 seconds. i also cut up the other material into 10 second clips. then i substituted chunks of the performance with the clips. since everything was 10 seconds long, it was easy to keep it all in sync throughout. the 10 second pacing actually seemed to help pull it all together artistically. a true iMovie expert would probably laugh! thanks Check out my latest song called Settle

. Great idea. I've been watching iLife '09 with great interest. iMovie apparently allows video dual tracking now, which should make that easier. But I'm waiting to buy the iLife/iWork/OS X family multi pack until Snow Leopard comes out... day 1, I'll be in line like I will be for the new Star-Trek in a couple weeks :) Check out my latest song called Sorry (Bracelet of Hope Version)

Love the vid and the song Bill This is such a relaxing song. I don't know what it is about rain, but it always seems to calm the spirit. That is unless it comes in the form of tornadic weather, but that's not where you've gone here. This is such a lovely piece Bill and I just love it. Kudos on the music, and on the video. . this whole project was impromptu, all done in one evening. the "realness" is probably because it's pretty close to raw video. all the video segments are first takes. in iMovie i used slo-mo for the bubbles scenes (the original video ran way too short), and i added a rain effect to the brook scenes: it really was gently raining but it only showed up as little splashes in the water, so i enhanced it a bit. thanks Check out my latest song called Settle
