I needed a little more punch for a surf video than the original Miles and Miles. They were going to have an aerial contest but the waves kept barreling and the rain kept pouring down. So the surfers (and the judges)let it evolve into a tube riding contest. Sort of a cognitive resonance. Serendipity.
