Description
This is a 'bigger production' than previously, from one point of view. I'm again trying something a little different, but not too weird, hence it's not under Experimental.
The subject matter is The Great Dog, not the Great Bear (Ursa Major) as I originally intentioned. Ah well. I should Wiki my facts first.
It's Space Ambient, as is my current drift/meander, but with the birth cries of Symphonic Ambient. I'm working on this sub genre with my current mixes. Stay tuned.
As always I'd love to hear what you think about this piece, good or otherwise.
It is also a part work for a web album I'm putting together called 'Another Day In Space'.

I like it; it's definitely got the space vibe. Some of the ways you could structure this music (or this kind of music) a bit differently would be:
1. Vary the texture more – have sections with just 1-2 synth voices, and other sections with 3-4, and still other sections with a very dense texture;
2. Vary the timbres more; same idea as above, but using timbres (i.e., light vs. dark) instead;
3. Play around with different registers; very low only for a while, or very high, or widely spaced, etc.;
4. Try different scales in different sections;
5. You have a non pitched, somewhat percussive hissy sound that comes to the fore every now and then; you could have sections where other non pitched sounds are used, perhaps with no pitch content at all.
