Description
A short funky piece I've been toying with for weeks. This one is loop based with over 14 tracks - stressing out my G4.

Alright
A little schizophrenic--a lot of different things going on
here. Almost like flipping through a magazine. There's a
definite style throughout, but a lot to process on the first
listen.

Thanks from both of me!
Wow, a quick feedback. I appreciate it. Yeah, it jumps a bit
genrewise. Overkill in a few spots probably. I did notice
many differences in the sound when "mixed down" to
Itunes so that took many iterations.

all over the map..
but still on the same sheet of paper (i think.. lemme get
some tape) some really neat percussion-y happenings, &
the funky guitar just does it for me. hope those other 7
songs make it out of the 'system' soon

Heh, heh... love the flanged drums!
Its an unusual effect, but using it through the whole piece might be overkill. Sounds like the snare is in a different loop. You might try flanging the snare instead of the kick drum, maybe using the effect intermittently, or doubling the track so you get both the full EQ range from the kick and the flanged signal. I think the full-on flange robs you of a crisp bottom end.

Overall its a fun piece! I'd suggest throwing some of those guitar breaks to the left or right with track panning to get some stereo movement. Your G4 has my sympathies... I don't know that I was ever able to coax mine up to 14 tracks!
