Description

This is a much cleaner, less cluttered mix of the collaboration with Keishi Saito, the wonderful Japanese
pianist (http://www.macjams.com/users.php?mode=profile&uid=4783). My wife listened to the original and said I had buried Saito's piano under alot of my accompaniment garbage. The more I listened, the more I agreed. This version allows Saito to shine. After all, once he participated in this tune, it became his. Thank you, kc.

	Can your wife listen to our tunes too? In a lot of ways that is better; it has more of a shape. Damn. Your wife is a better critic than MacJams. It does seem to end a little prematurely though now. There is yet another version of Summer Place. This, I
guess, is the pianist's choice. kc posted the original file
that we sent back and forth to put this together--he
posted it on a Japanese website similar to MacJams. Here's

Very interesting site. The version kc posted has virtually
no percussion, and all of the 'accompaniment garbage'
that my wife didn't like. Also, no fade out. So, for the

	Whimsy and effortless soloing Wonderful fragment of whimsy and wit, lightness, integrated dissonance and elegant patience. Next generation Sati. Effortless. revised and expanded again, this time under a new name, "fresh green in
summer," with kcsaito, iG.STUDiO, and drlaine, under the group name World
Jazz Project. You might like it.

nice
starts out very stark. I like the underlayment tracks - letting the piano
shine through. The understated shaker is a nice touch.

The parts seem to fight each other a little bit, perhaps that is intentional. I
would have like the frums to be slightly more prominate, giveing a little
more back bone to the piece. At first the harmonica accomp. bothered
me, but as the tune continued, I started to see in meshing within the
peice and grew to like it more.

A very different piece, and very nice. good performances.
