Description
another song from our debut album, this one is about our singer choosing music over law school. also, there's a big chorus of ME at the end. i'm quite proud of the bass playing on the track as well... i'd like to point out that there is no guitar on this track, just violin baby (that is true of all m-lab tracks until further notice)

Lyrics
when the city came calling my name i took a long look at the letter
i took a train, threw the letter away, cause i knew that i knew better
i chose the track that set you in my path, and you let my voice be your
voice
i let your hands be my hands in a pact, a trust, a choice
i wanted nothing more than everything fast, you know i’ve never been afraid
but now i think about the time that’s past and the decisions that we’ve made
i look for signs that everything will be fine and i come up empty-handed
i think tonight i might be losing my mind, maybe you could understand it
but you’re too far to break my fall and pull me into safety
you’re too far, stay where you are
this time you cannot save me
don’t think i’m too far
just because i’m out of sight
i could be there tomorrow
there’s one last train tonight
tomorrow i might be all right
i know, i’ll be satisfied tomorrow
but tonight goes on and on and on and on and –
i catch my breath and i try to forget about the letter i threw out
my voice unsteady, should i give it up already? i am drowning in doubt
now you’re too far to break my fall and pull me into safety
you’re too far, stay where you are
this time you cannot save me
don’t think i’m too far
just because i’m out of sight
i could be there tomorrow
there’s one last train tonight
last call: i’m reaching out before i fall
you stop me at the door, say “hold tight”
i’m gonna try
tomorrow may be fine but tonight goes on and on
and on and on and on
it goes on and on and on and on
don’t think i’m too far
just because i’m out of sight
i will be there tomorrow
(tomorrow’s all right)

I'm glad someone turned me on to your tracks. No offense
but I'm not sure you should be here. I think I need to be
hearing your name elsewhere in the world. This is
definitely on the next level. Good luck.
